Terms of Service

By using InvoiceLaw you agree to these terms. InvoiceLaw is a web tool that helps you track invoices, estimate late-payment interest and draft payment reminders.

Accounts and plans

You can use InvoiceLaw without an account in demo mode, or create an account to save your invoices online. The Free plan has the limits shown on the pricing page. Pro is a paid plan for 1 or 12 months, paid in advance. It never renews or charges you automatically.

Payments

Payments are processed by the third-party payment provider shown at checkout. Your plan is upgraded once the payment is confirmed. Pro lasts for the period you paid for (1 or 12 months) and does not renew by itself. You can extend it any time from the app.

Acceptable use

Use InvoiceLaw only to collect debts that are genuinely owed to you. Do not use it to harass, threaten or mislead anyone, or to break any law on debt collection.

No legal or financial advice

Interest rates, compensation amounts and reminder templates are general information. They may not fit your contract or jurisdiction. You are responsible for checking what you are entitled to charge before sending any message.

Availability and liability

We work to keep InvoiceLaw available and accurate but provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects paying customers, we will announce it at least 14 days before it takes effect.

Privacy Policy

What we store

If you create an account, we store your email address, your name and business name, and the invoices you enter (client name, billing email, amounts and dates). This data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and is protected so that only your account can read it. Without an account, your invoices stay in your own browser and never reach us.

Invoice links you share

Each invoice has a private link. Anyone who has the link can see that one invoice (number, amount, dates), your name or business name, your email and the payment details you entered. If a client taps "I've sent the payment", we record the time. Links can't be guessed, and they show nothing else from your account.

Payments

Our payment provider processes your payment and may ask for your email. We receive the payment status, amount and email so we can upgrade your plan.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or contact your clients.

Your rights

You can ask us to export or delete your account and all its data at any time. If you are in the EU, UK or California, you also have the right to access and correct your data. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Refund Policy

If InvoiceLaw isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of any payment for a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds are sent back through the same payment method, normally within 5 business days. After 14 days, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
